Hey Snow, I’m sorry to bother you again….I was hoping/wondering if you could upload the 2003 version of Black Mirror 1 instead? I feel so bad asking this, the reason why I am asking is because I actually didn’t know there was the remastered/rebooted version, I guessed. I also just read that the reboot/remaster was not good and deviated from the original 2003 version, it got mixed reviews. Please let me know if you can at all, and if you cant/won’t I completely understand lol. I am just so grateful you even take the time to get the games for us.<3

Hi Snow & Pixie – Hope you are all well. Downloaded the game which looks brilliant! However the mouse is not being picked up a controllers and it is so awkward with ‘WASD’ buttons to move around especially when it is so dark – Is there any way to change – I do not see any other control options except for a joystick?
Hi Ruby. Are you playing the 2017 release? If yes there is no other option to play it, it’s how they made the game. That was one of the reason that release didn’t receive so many good reviews as the 2003 version. It’s not really a point & click adventure if you’re using your keyboard, I hate that too.
yea lol, if you can get past the idea of playing with older graphics I would suggest playing the 2003 version, I enjoyed it even though the graphics are outdated- I liked it alot. If you do end up playing it, make multiple saves lol unlike me I kept overwriting and then I messed up and couldn’t continue the game, So I looked online for forums that had save files I could just download to continue where I left off because I REALLY wanted to finish it LOL. Anyway it was a very good mystery game and the voice acting is superb, thank you again Snow for uploading it 🙂

Hey Snow I am sorry to bother you again, I am only asking because I don’t know what options I have. So I am playing the The Longest Journey and I got to a part where I am supposed to click on a lever and its should put me in a cinematic to progress the story- but nothing happens when I try to click the lever, and I cant even leave the page now like to other parts of the map, its like she is stuck, she cant walk anywhere else. So I decided to revert back to an older save and play from there but I did it and then I get to a part where I am supposed to go down into a cave and it kicks me out of the game everytime, it just exits/closes the game. I need to go down into that cave for progression in game, I really cant progress in the game- I don’t know what else to do. Any pointers?
Hi sweetie, sorry for the delay. I honestly have no idea why it did that.. I searched on forums to see if there’s a fix or an update available but I had zero luck. I’ll keep looking though. Are you still having problems to proceed to the game?

Yea, I even tried downloading a saved game file from the internet on a forum, but I couldn’t get it to work, it kept giving me an error message in-game. I deleted the save game files I added and launched the game, and so far I can get into that cave now 🙂 I don’t know what could’ve happened, but so far its okay- we’ll see what happens when I get to the other part where I got stuck and no cinematic. LOL I am so sorry to bug you, you are the computer whiz so I thought I would ask anyhow 😛 I am happy I can progress a bit at least for now, otherwise I would’ve had to put the game down indefinitely.
Hey Snow, just giving you an update on the game. So I finished it! 🙂 YAY lol. It did feel like I was playing on egg shells only because it force quit me out again a couple chapters after, I figured it had something to do with me pressing esc to skip/speed some of the dialogue/animations. I did this because I had subtitles on anyway and she just walks so damn slow LOL, So I only pressed esc every so often. Luckily I only had the one more force quit I just mentioned and I was able to play until the end of the game no problems. Honestly, it did not bug me too much I expect these types of things on older games anyhow, I am just happy I finished it 😀 I am sure the other parts will be fine haha as they are newer. Anyway thank you very much as always! 🙂
Those games are not made to be played in Windows 10 that’s why they have so many issues. They should have release updates and patches to fix all these because it’s a same to not be able to play so many beautiful older games.

I agree it is a shame lol, I do enjoy the older games, that is why I am not too bothered when I experience difficulties in playing them. The only frustrating part is when you can’t finish the game, luckily it didn’t happen to me this time 🙂
