Restored to its former splendor, the grand venue welcomes London’s elite for the premiere of The Last Performance, an unfinished play rescued from the theatre’s fire-scarred past. Detectives Morgan Johnson and Jack Brown are called to uncover the truth behind the impossible murder. Their investigation leads through hidden passages, forgotten rehearsal rooms, locked royal boxes, and the dangerous machinery above and beneath the stage. As new script pages appear and more lives are threatened, Morgan and Jack discover that the theatre’s greatest illusion is hiding a crime buried for decades.
