Aveyond is a role-playing video game series by Amaranth Games. It is set in a fantasy medieval world in which players attempt to save the world from evil beings, with a number of side quests available. There are seven games thus far in the series: the first two full games, the four “chapter” releases of the third game, and the free prequel, Ahriman’s Prophecy.
All the games in the series were made with RPg Maker XP. Amaranth Games was the first developer to popularize RPG Maker as a commercial tool in 2006.
Introducing part:
Ahriman’s Prophecy was released on December 5th, 2005.
Aveyond 1 Rhen’s Quest was released on November 26th, 2006.
Aveyond 2 Ean’s Quest was released on December 27th, 2007.

Thank you for uploading the games here, it’s hard to find uploads of the final versions anywhere online.
Though I was wondering if you could upload a zip with the games all already pre extracted/setup, so that they’re then capable of being run on Android via JoiPlay since it can run RPG Maker games as long as they’re already extracted, since some of them in the zip are just the setup .exe files which require setup on a PC they can’t current be used in JoiPlay.
If you do decide to do so then if you were to add Ahriman’s Prophecy (first game in the series which was released for free and can be run on Android via EasyRPG) and possibly Aveyond 4 as well that would be great and would make this the only available complete collection of all the games since they aren’t even all on Steam, if not then just one with all the current games in the zip pre extracted/setup would still be great.
It may sound impossible but I would like the official guides to each one

how do i bring my saved game over to AVEYOND 3?
Hi, I just tried to download and run this on my Win 10 PC today but none of them seem to be working for me 🙁 Are there any settings that I need to modify in order for them to run properly? Or would it be possible for me to request a re-upload for an updated, working version of the files? Thank you!
These are the latest versions of the games that I have. Keep in mind that they are games that were released 10 years ago and newer computers have issues running them.
You can try changing compatibility to each, by right clicking in the exe file and choose older Windows from the compatibility tab.
Also be sure you have the latest DirectX installed.
I’ll try that out! Do I need to change properties for color mode and screen res as well?
First try changing only the Windows to previous, like 7 or even XP and then the screen resolution. I don’t know if it will work but play around with the settings and it might. I hope for the best! 🤞🏻
I’ve tried everything but it doesn’t seem to want to work T_T The furthest I’ve gotten is with the black game window and that just closes itself after trying for a bit

That’s ok, I appreciate the help! Would you happen to know if there is anywhere else where I might have luck finding another version of the games? Would really want to be able to play them again for nostalgia’s sake :’)

They all worked for me! Now I have a new issue haha, I keep having a rxdata file being created on my desktop. Is there any way for me to stop that from happening, or make it such that the file is actually being created in one of the game folders, which I believe should be the case. Thank you!
Is this just for Windows, or would I have any luck running it in Linux or Ubuntu?
This is only for Windows. I have no experience for the other OS’s but I don’t think it will work.. You can give it a try if you want, nothing to lose.
