I can’t see 50% of things in game- it seems like half of game is outside monitor – it seems like this game has resolution of wide monitor (16:9), while I have only 5:4 monitor (1280×1024)
Where I can change settings?
You can try changing the settings to windowed mode from inside the game, if you can see the button.
Or right click in the Cathy.exe application, click on properties, go to compatibility tab and check the “Run in 640×480 screen resolution” click ok and try again.
This stuff doesn’t work – I couldn’t click windowed option and clicking on 640×480 just made game look pixelated.
Instead I set monitor resolution using nvidia panel (ATI and other graphic cards should have their own panels too) to 1280×720, then launched game.
While I couldn’t switch to windowed mode (it complained that resolution was too small), I could actually play it – only bug is graphical – sitting clients are doubled just like when you are drunk.
Then I hid game – didn’t leave it, I switched back to previous resolution, and switched to game – it stayed at widescreen resolution.
So while it is very bad move to make game support only wide screen, there is work around for it.

I don’t see why not. It plays fine on Windows 10, I’m sure it will be playable on 8 too.

Snow, My wife is playing this and she said even uninstalling it and reinstalling it still has impossible levels. We downloaded another 60 minute trial and it plays fine. Forum says I have version 1.1.0 (which is correct), it also says I need version 1.0.2 do you have that one as well?
I have another version, from Bigfish, that I’m testing and uploading at the moment. I’ll give you the link here when it’s ready, so you can try it out 🙂
