It does work. Be sure you have downloaded all 3 parts for the game. There was a mix up for part 3 earlier, so check again if you do have it and then unzip the files.

I got to the “setup.exe” file, and clicked on it, and the box came up with the dog, and I told it where the files were for the game, and to install it there, but I couldn’t go any further. I tried a few different ways, and one time it said I needed to put the crack in manually, and as I don’t know anything about that, I just had to quit. I wish I could of figured it out!
Once the window with the dog pops up be sure to have all the option checked. This way the crack will apply automatically.
Also, be sure you have all the files needed and your antivirus or windows defender didn’t delete any. See photos below.
