I keep getting malware alerts for this game – from Malwarebytes Premium. And a bunch of scanners at Virus total flags the executable as malware. I bypassed the Malwarebytes alert on my system and played the game without a problem. And I also have ESET Smart Security Premium running and it didn’t flag the file. Strange shit. Anyone else having this bullshit?
There is an explanation, most antivirus (if not all) have made updates to recognize cracked games as threats for obvious reasons. If the game is packed into an .exe only, it usually doesn’t give a warning, but when it’s compressed to a rar or zip it does. If you notice, if you let your antivirus block the flagged file, you won’t be able to play. The game itself of course doesn’t have anything harmful.
That’s why we usually suggest to make a folder in your computer, put all your games inside and make an exception for this folder in your antivirus so it won’t keep deleting them.
