I’m having some trouble with this downloading correctly… Is it supposed to be a rar file and then unzipped…? Because it keeps showing up as an exe file after I download it and it has errors saying a file is missing 🙁
No you don’t have to unzip it. It’s an exe. You double click it and it will extract by itself and give you the files you need to play the game.
Now, if a file is missing (like a DLL file) we can try and fix that. What does it say?
Hi and thnx for the help! 🙂 I downloaded the exe then i double click
that file and it unzips to my desktop into a folder called “The Wolf
Among Us Final” and then I try to click the exe inside of that but then
it says “d3dx9_41.dll” is missing. Tried downloading a few different
times bc the message said to try re-downloading but it hasn’t worked.
Also, when i click that original first exe the unzip program that comes
up right away is “7 zip self extracting archive” if that helps any. I
have winrar too but that does not appear as an option for unzipping this
file
Ok that’s an easy fix. You only need to download the missing file from here

and put it inside the folder you have after the exe files unzips, the one that’s called “The Wolf
Among Us Final”.
After that try and run again the .exe file inside and it will probably work. Let me know how it will go.

Snow, big problem, when I try to run the .exe file it says that is missing “MSVCP100.dll” please answer as soon as possible :c
dll files are missing from our computers and it’s easy to fix by manually download the file you need.
Download the one you want for now from here:

and you have to put it in the installation folder of the game.
I think I did something wrong, I just wanna smash things….I just downloaded the file you told me to…I extracted it on the file the wolf among us and now when I try to run it it says that msvcp100.dll is not designed to be executed on windows or has an error…any clue Snow? Ok, step by step. First did you install the game? Or it asked you for the missing dll before the installation?
It can be a little tricky where to put the dll file. Also, do you have Windows 7 on your computer?
I downloaded the file, double clicked it…waited for a bit and had to make an extraction….I did it and there was a new “folder” (sucky English), double clicked it and tryend to run the exe file to install it…then popped up the dll message thing….I have windows 7
So you got the error before the installation. Don’t worry about your english, they are fine.
Can you give me the exact error that you’re getting?
You have the option, as far as I know (and I don’t know everything) to update your microsoft visual c + + with the latest updates that will include all the missing files that are designed for your Windows.

Update, I have made the thing in the website but, I can’t instal the vcredist x64 because I don’t have it….plan b Snow? lol
