You’re the best Snow. I love CSI games. Thank you. I got the other two to work but this one in the install notes it says it has to be mounted. What does that mean? When I install it like the others, it just asks me for the disks, even though I said full install. Any suggestions.

Thanks, Snow. I may have done autorun. I uninstalled it and ran setup. Now it says director player error. must contain a section [Movies] with an entry Movie01=pathname.dir.

I’ve been having a lot of trouble too. I clicked on the “setup.exe” file, and now have it downloaded and installed, but now when I want to play it (clicked on “Autorun.exe”), it asked me for a disk, which of course there isn’t one, and so I had no other choices, but to quit. And what are those many files in Case 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5? I don’t see a usable file extension in all those files…
I’ve attempted “mounting” a few years ago (I didn’t enjoy THAT learning process then), and if that’s what I have to do, for this game, I’m gonna have to do a refresher course on how to go about getting that process going….
But I don’t see the option anywhere to do a “mounting”, in this game.
Are all the CSI games in this series, this aggravating and time consuming? Would you have a website, where I and others, could learn how to “mount”? I’m sure there’s others who have no knowledge of how to do that, because downloading and installing games is usually a pretty simple process, that a majority of people know how to do.
I believe I might be speaking for a few people who come to your site, and enjoy the games you have…when I say, you’ve thrown us a curve ball with the games in this CSI series. It’s not downloading and installing THIS time!
Please advise…:)

No apologies, Snow. I requested them, you were being kind. I got the other 3 to work, it’s just this one that doesn’t like me.and my laptop is quite new. Thank you for all you do.

No worries, Snow. I’m disappointed at first, and sometimes frustrated if I can’t figure it out,but then I look at how many games I have from you yet to play and how many series I kept because I like them so much again from you and POOF, any sadness is gone. 🙂 Plus it’s good to challenge ourselves. If you’re ever in BC, Canada I’ll take you up on that. lol

Hi SnowAngel, I would really appreciate if you didn’t take them off the site. There are people who know how to use iso files and mount them accordingly. I understand it is a learning curve when it comes to virtual drives and mounting iso files for the games to run, but they are older games… and you are trying to run it on newer windows applications, nothing is that simple when bringing old and new tech together. I would suggest maybe attaching notes under the games that require mounting programs or knowledge of iso files so people know what they are getting into- so they have the choice to not download it if it seems too complicated. Its a slippery slope because there are games people want to play that are old but they require extra work for them to function on newer systems. I hope you don’t take the older games off because I literally mostly like older games and there might be others as well.

Everyone please remember that if you are going to install an older game that requires mounting, you need a program to do that, and you need to learn on how to do that if you want to play those games, because all old games require that knowledge to work because it is the only way it can be done on newer computers today. And I do not mean to sound rude but it is not SnowAngels job to teach you how to do that, she has tons of games on her website that are old and imagine if everyone needed help on that specific game, she couldn’t possibly explain it to everyone one by one, thats where something like tech support would come in.

I understand its frustrating to you Snow, trying to help and explain how to get the games to install for people, but please dont remove them if you can. Maybe just a little note to prepare people for whats needed for installation.<3

Okay Miss SnowAngel 🙂 I am sorry if I came off quite abrupt. I have a protective inner trait about me, and I consider you a friend lol and I see what you do for all of us everyday and I feel the need to protect whenever I see someone venting frustrations towards things you do for us. I am probably in the error of that lol. I will try to keep my protections to a minimun LOL I am glad I know how you feel about it, and thank you so much for responding to me about it, and sorry to the girl as well if I came off too harsh. Thank you both.<3
