Currently trying to get this game to work. Do I need to register with an e-mail address to play it, like the game is claiming? And with the expansion pack?
It has two files with instructions how to activate the game inside the rar folder.

I have the main game activated, but now I can’t get the expansion pack… I’ve followed the instructions closely. I think the Howler application might not be working correctly, I don’t know. Any suggestions?
One last option I have for you to fix it is to download and run this

it’s a fix from Microsoft. Then try the Howler one more time. Hope it works 🙂
Hm… that’s not working, either… I’ve also tried uninstalling and re-installing the game package, but that also did not help things. I also tried disabling the shields of Avast, and that did not help. I’m not sure what else to do. :/ If I bought the expansion pack, would it be able to work with the main game I downloaded from your site?
That is something I don’t know for sure Amanda.. I would reccomend not to buy it, because noone tried it so far and I think it would recognise the cracked version of the main game and it wont let you play it.
Let me take a look if there’s another version of the expansion available that might work better for you.

Ah, I assume you cannot find anything… that’s okay. Do you know of a site where I could get the base game and the expansion pack as cheap as possible? I don’t mind buying it, I suppose, I just think nearly $40 for it is a little much.
Hi I have a problem with opening the expansion. I got the full game, but I can’t get howler to run for some reason. I have windows 8, and every time I try to run howler, it just doesn’t show up.
Amanda had the same problem and I couldn’t get it to work either. That’s odd though because when I first tested it it was working.
Still searching for another version that might work, I hope I can find something soon 🙂
Thanks so much! I think it might just be howler? I can never seem to get it running for some reason, but I did get Seasons of the Wolf to work for some reason…
